Who Can Be Saved?

The father asked the servant to bring the best robe for the prodigal son, who was filthy. The son was not expected to clean himself up before putting on the robe, the same that God didn't expect us to clean our lives up before coming to Him.

The father asked for the signet ring, only to be worn by the family. The son was not required to repay or redeem himself, but was restored, the same way that God adds us to His family, to be His son and daughter.

The father asked for the sandals for his son because he was bare feet. Every step would have been a constant reminder of pain, but now every step is so good with the sandal, an experience God wants us to have each day of our lives.
