02. Guidelines for Hearing God - Part 1

Challenges of Hearing God:

- not yet recognised God's voice

- not familiar with the channels or ways God

Guidelines:

1. It is a two-way street of speaking and listening

2. It is always a work in progress and learning "how-to"

3. It gets better with lots of practice and experience

4. Be an apprentice

5. Be willing, ready and clean vessel for God

6. You must accept that God can and does speak audibly if He chooses and never dismiss nor limit God's many ways of speaking to us

7. Intimate relationship is crucial in hearing God

8. Be open to God's provision of other to help us discern God's voice

9. Hearing God does not make us righteous but doing what God said does

10. Be persistent, don't give up no matter how many times you do not get it right at hearing God
